apparently
thats been my aspect with my blog lately...
Having been 3weeks since last writing, I opened “Microsoft Word” to start typing an update and found an old post I had yet to finish. So to start off,
im going to copy and paste it anyways...
Loving Life on the World Cup circuit: Aug/Sept.
USA, Canada, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, and now AUSTRIA...
5 countries, 6weeks, 48,520km, 15hours driving, 52hours flying, and 19hours by train for 3 races.
I spent a while figuring out these numbers so they should be pretty accurate. I wont bother adding up expenses though haha . I know most of us are all in the same boat with these numbers but I thought it would be interesting to total up... something im sure Adam would do if he hasn’t already haha
Right now me and the rest of the Canadians are sitting on the train for our last 2hours of 7 today. Somehow I ended up on the side with the sun... soooo hot! The last several hours I have been trying to catch up on sleep but can’t seem to get comfortable... and just when I started to doze off I opened my eyes to snickering and others scrambling to get there camera out... yup, I guess I was falling asleep sitting straight up or something and looked pretty funny.
I’m giving up on trying to sleep and instead write about the last couple races.
I haven’t got much written and already considering finishing this later cause the heat from my laptop is making me even hotter. Now it’s two weeks later- 16days into the off season... worst part: winter weight has already taken its toll and it’s not even Thanksgiving, Halloween nor Christmas yet :p
hahaIts nice to be home though. Did 11 loads of laundry, very slowly getting caught up on emails, found a part time job, still looking for a car, visiting relatives and friends, found a Halloween costume, got in trouble for being late with submitting my “whereabouts”, went to a retirement party for Ralph at Trek Toronto, was the “turtle” yesterday at an elementary cross country running event, what else...? last night Adam and I went to the movies to see “Surrogates” which was as
hoaxy of a movie as I could watch... I liked it, was interesting.
I’m sure
im missing a bunch of stuff that will surely come to me later but for now this brings me to today- trying to soak up last minute sun in OCTOBER (as I type this) and later clean bikes.
To everyone who is reading this... thank you for fallowing
