Where'd you spend your day?

Couldn't ask for a nicer day than today. +16 in November? I'll take it! Even did a little sun bathing and got a slight sunburn :) Definitely beats the rain, snow and hail that Peter Glassford was
complaining about the other day.
I Watched the cross race up at Hardwood all day.. maaannn I want to race again! So with that said, I am officially starting cross training as of tomorrow (Monday- Nov. 8th). New running shoes and everything :). I'll let ya know how it goes tomorrow.
Yesterday was a lot of fun to. A friend from Edmonton, Kirk Hamilton, had a layover in Toronto and came out to visit for a few hours. Then in the afternoon we all decided to join dad and go check out the Royal Winter Far in Toronto. ooh the Royal... brought back so many memories of being in the show-ring "Showing" dads cattle. I'm pretty sure its been 11 years since the last time I was there.
Didn't realize how much I missed it.

.....................................................................(1992- Mark and I, Royal Fair grounds)
Work with the school groups has finished for the season so for temporary work, Adam and I have been going around house to house asking to rake their leaves... sounds funny but its outdoors, a wicked workout, and decent pay. At first it was a little awkward... but quickly became kinda fun. The elders are awesome. Nothing like raking a lawn and having a sweet old lady neighbour come to complain about how their other neighbours leaves always blow onto there property and do nothing
about it....
haha.

Well, may as well go catch the end of "G. I. Joe" thats playing downstairs....(I hate loud action movies)
bye for now...

It certainly was an incredible weekend. I was fortunate enough to get out on Sunday for a long run through Heber Down.

Speaking of Brooklin, I lived in Stouffville for a a few years and used to drive to the diner there almost every Sunday. I forgot what it was called.

Was the diner Michael Kelly's on Winchester (just east of the arena)? That's our favourite place to eat in "downtown" Brooklin.
